We are excited to announce the official launch of our Sunday Breakfasts here at The Break Restaurant, Hotel Illawong Evans Head.
All the fun starts Sunday 15th September 2019 and continues every Sunday morning from 8am til 11am.
The new Breakfast menu offers something for every ‘foodie’, from the simple breakfast burger, french toast and smoothie bowls to crispy perfectly 62° poached eggs, house made corn beef hash browns, local award-winning bacon and decedent coffee cured king fish slices!
Bring the kids to play & laze on the deck, or soak up the sun in the beer garden, enjoy quality Artisti Coffee, Almighty Organic Juice Blends and Remedy Kombucha, along with your favourite from our new menu.
Here at The Break Restaurant our super chefs are dedicated to sourcing quality Australian produce to feature in our dishes, supporting our local suppliers and providing our guests with the most enjoyable culinary experience possible.
We also like to stand out from the crowd, and we enjoy doing things a little differently.
Our Breakfast Menu, like all our Menus is unique to The Break Restaurant, offering our community a diverse range of dishes that are sometimes a little left of centre. What is a crispy crumbed 62° poached egg?!
It is a perfectly soft poached egg, slow cooked in the shell in a water bath at 62° degrees, also known as the sous-vide method, which ensures perfectly poached eggs every time. Our Chefs then lightly crumb the egg and quickly flash fry it for golden crispyness on the outside & soft spreadable egg inside. YUM!
